A Story

Stella stolida erat tristis quia non habuit saxum terere.

I know there are quite a few words here we haven't learned, shown in italics, but they have been conjugated/declined properly, so if you want to translate, you can look words up on the web.

  2. John got it (mostly)! I was thinking "dim-witted", but "stupid" is just as good. Also, because a verb in present or perfect tense can be translated three ways, "it had not" would sound a bit smoother as "it didn't have".
(unfortunately, latin people don't have the word "to pet", so "to rub" is the next closest thing). Stay tuned for the next part of the story!
